BEA SMART FOCUS Sensor

The BEA SMART FOCUS provides safety where narrow fields of detection are needed, such as in the following applications:
- Sliding Door during the open cycle (risk of crushing)
- Curved sliding or Swing door during the closing cycle (risk of pinch point or crushing)
- It safeguards the potential impact or ‘pinch zone’ of revolving doors (on un-monitored doors)
SMART FOCUS sensors utilise an active infrared sensor, with background suppression (triangulation). A narrow infrared beam of 35mm x 70mm at a height of 2.2m is used, and is suitable for all applications where accurate and narrow detection fields are required.
The SMART FOCUS either opens, protects or monitors.
A single SMART FOCUS, or several in unison will provide safety in revolving air locks, and can be used vertically (with background), or horizontally (if necessary, without background).
NOTE:
The SMART FOCUS can be used with optional mounting brackets, SMA (5112-0003 Steel) OR SBA (5112-0002 Moulded).
