The FLATSCAN 170 uses IR - Infra Red laser technology (time of flight measurement) for safety of swing doors. It generates 170 measurement points to provide complete protection for the user, and is easy to install.

One FLATSCAN 170 is enough to cover both the complete width and height of a typical door wing including the pinch zone.

Compact Design
The FLATSCAN 170 can be used on all swing doors, regardless of their size. Thanks to its compact design (85mm x 142mm) it looks inconspicuous in any installation.

Not Affected By Surroundings
The FLATSCAN 170 is not affected by it’s surroundings, including; slatted floors, carpet, reflective flooring slippery surfaces. Nor is the sensor affected by objects such as handrails, walls, heaters or dustbins etc.

Pinch Zone Safety
The FLATSCAN 170 covers the entire door area, including the hinges and protects hands and fingers during the opening and closing.It counts 100 points, divided over 18° in the pinch zone.

Simple & Quick Installation
The size of the sensor area is defined by simple hand movements, which leads to a fast installation.
